About Me
I'm a life-long learner with a passion for turning data into smart decisions. I strive to bring excellence and expertise to my work through Data Analytics and Machine Learning.
In College, I focused equally on Mathematics and Music. I hold degrees in both and I’m fortunate to have won awards in both as well. I went on to become a professional violinist and composer, giving hundreds of concerts world-wide for over a decade. I've also had the pleasure to lead projects ranging from full album productions, to live concerts, music videos and educational programs.
I began to code in the spring of 2020 and felt like a portal opened to a new universe of ideas. I became obsessed with playing with datasets, exploring interesting questions, applying statistics, modeling complex patterns, drawing inferences and making predictions.
There are so many fascinating applications of Advanced Statistics and its high-powered cousin, Machine Learning: disease detection and prediction in Healthcare, forecasting and fraud detection in Fintech, production optimization in a variety of industries, customer segmentation, and so many more. There are also plenty of exciting possibilities in science, particularly in modeling physical laws and astrophysics through deep learning.
I have been working on end-to-end Machine Learning projects that span everything from data acquisition to data cleaning, feature selection, feature engineering, model selection, model fine-tuning and analysis. Feel free to take a look at the Projects page to see the latest.
I am excited for this new chapter in my career and I look forward to opportunities where I get to innovate, explore, solve complex problems, learn new tools and collaborate with others.
